Employee Spotlight: Mike Mattarocci

Meet Mike Mattarocci, the Project Coordinator at Imperial Roofs and Aluminum. Mike has worked for us for over twenty years and has a bright future ahead of him.

It’s tough to put into words Mike’s importance, but the reason we’re featuring him on our blog this month is to showcase our appreciation for his efforts. Mike has quite a reputation amongst employees who know him as well as among our clients.

A unique characteristic of Mike is that he lives up to his duties by treating the company like it’s his own. He also gets involved with large project decision-making, budgeting, and also marketing.

His approach to customer service

Mike’s integrity as a person shows through in his approach to client care. His follow-ups and attention to detail ensure that the customer has a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

During a rainy Sunday afternoon, Mike left his son’s baseball game to serve a new home that a previous customer had purchased recently. The home had a leak that was causing extreme damage to the home. He traveled there on a Sunday to help this gentleman so that he would mitigate the damages to his house etc. This was on his own time and with no expectations in regards to getting compensated. The customer was super delighted to have such an immediate response that he gave him a very good compensation for his efforts unbeknownst to us.

It’s clear that Mike has genuine care and commitment for Imperial Roofs and Aluminum, and we absolutely love the integrity with which he works.

When we asked him about why he loves working with us, he grinned and said: “It is an honor to be a part of Imperial Roofs and Aluminum. I am in my twentieth year of employment, and my current role is Project Coordinator. I started as a general labor and slowly moved up to my current position. The owner is a compassionate, considerate, and attentive employer. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Imperial Roofs and Aluminum and the crew over the years. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.”
